This Creamy Lemonade made with fresh-squeezed lemon juice, sweetened condensed milk, and a kiss of vanilla is the perfect refreshing treat for summertime!

While I'm not the biggest fan of regular lemonade, this creamy lemonade is something I can get behind! I find lemonade can be so harsh and heart-burn inducing, to put it bluntly... hahaha. Not this recipe!
The sweetened condensed milk rounds out the brightness of the lemon juice perfectly and slightly thickens this drink for a creamy, smooth beverage that is perfect for sipping on a hot summer day!

As my tastebuds mature (or at least that's what I think it is), I'm finding I enjoy lemon drinks and desserts more and more. This year alone, I've posted recipes for No-Bake Lemon Raspberry Cheesecake, Lemon Poppy Seed Cookies, and Raspberry Lemon Tarts!
What can I say? When life gives you lemons... You make lots of lemon desserts, I guess?! Beyond desserts, I must say some of my favorite sparkling waters are also lemon flavored... and I drink ginger lemon tea every night before bed.

⭐️ Why You Need to Make This Recipe
- Method - This creamy lemonade recipe is so easy and quick to make! This recipe makes 2 servings as written, but it is super simple to scale the recipe up to make more servings.
- Flavor - Tart, sweet, creamy, and smooth with a touch of vanilla and only enough salt to make all those yummy flavors pop!
🧈 Ingredients
Here are the ingredients needed to make this condensed milk lemonade.

Ingredient Notes
- Lemon - Fresh-squeezed lemon juice is best, but I would say bottled lemon juice would work in a pinch.
- Sweetened Condensed Milk - Not to be confused with evaporated milk, which also comes in a can, sweetened condensed milk is thick, creamy, and very sweet. You could use sweetened condensed coconut milk to make this recipe dairy-free!
- Vanilla - A little kiss of vanilla extract never hurt, right?!
- Salt - Just a pinch of salt brings the flavors together and helps them pop!

📃 Instructions

Step 1: Measure out the water into a large measuring or pitcher. Squeeze the lemon juice into a bowl and remove any seeds. Open the can of sweetened condensed milk.

Step 2: Whisk the sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice into the water. I like 5 tablespoons of each, or add until your desired flavor is reached. Whisk in the vanilla and a pinch of salt to make the flavors pop.
Serve immediately over ice or chill until ready to serve. Add a slice of lemon to serve as a pretty garnish.
