This buttery and melty Brown Sugar Pecan Baked Brie flavored with a kiss of cinnamon is the perfect easy and delicious appetizer for the holiday season!
Preheat the oven to 350℉. Using a sharp knife, carefully slice the top rind off the brie and place it in a brie baker or small oven-safe casserole dish.
8 ounce round of brie
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, and black pepper. Stir in the chopped pecans.
1 tablespoon salted butter, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper, ½ cup chopped pecans
Top the brie with the pecan topping. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the brie is melty and the pecan mixture is toasted and bubbly. Serve immediately * with a toasted sliced baguette or crackers. Enjoy!

Add a pinch of salt if using unsalted butter.
You could use chopped walnuts or almonds instead if you prefer.
You can prep this recipe ahead of time! Simply prepare the brie by slicing off the top rind and placing it in the dish you will bake it in. Then, make the topping, cover, and store at room temperature for up to 8 hours. Right before baking, add the topping and bake as usual, then serve immediately.
