Ingredients

salted butter
softened

brown sugar

semisweet chocolate chips

(or butterscotch chips)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar with a hand mixer.
Add mashed bananas, eggs, and vanilla extract and beat until creamy.
Whisk together flour and baking soda, add to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Mix in pecans and chips until distributed throughout the batter.
Spoon batter into muffin tins lined with parchment liners almost to the top (fill empty cups halfway full with water to prevent warping).
Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
