Just stopping in here quick to present to you my hummus recipe!
THIS STUFF IS SO GOOD!!
You could literally eat the whole batch yourself! (just sayin'😏)
And it's so healthy, right?
All that garlic definitely makes it healthy!
This hummus recipe doesn't have tahini in it. When I was concocting this hummus I completely forgot to add tahini! 😫 I didn't even miss it and you probably won't either! I mean why add another ingredient if you don't actually need it!
- 1 540 ml can chickpeas (or navy beans)
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- ½ cup olive oil
- 7 cloves garlic
- ¼ cup sun-dried tomatoes
- Add all ingredients to the bowl of a good quality high-speed blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Chill until ready to serve.
Most hummus recipes also call for skinning the chickpeas, I didn't want to add that extra time-consuming step either. Apparently, it makes the texture more creamy but we can do without it here!
